James Irby

By being raised in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, I've endured the harsh winters Mother Nature throws my way. After living there for most of my life, I ventured out and attended Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and then found employment teaching English in Hong Kong, China where I spent ten years. It was there that I dreamt of the sub-zero temperatures of home to help cool me off from 90 degrees and 90% humidity. After having enough of the heat, I returned home to raise my son and daughter. I am now teaching English at Capital High School. Additionally, I am a PhD Student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the Literature and Criticism program.
