This is an old revision of the document!

Hi, James! I really like what you have here! Nice job! One thing I would suggest is perhaps moving some of your information from the overview into commentary, as you use more opinionated and speculative words like “interesting” and “seems.” This isn't super major, but maybe consider keeping the overview more objective, and saving the more speculative ideas for the commentary section. — John Phillips 2021/06/16 15:48 DONE

I would have to second Dr. Sherwood's suggestion. — David M Gonsalves 2021/06/16 15:43 DONE

I will edit the sections and ensure that subjective wording is used in commentary section and use more factual, objective words and phrases for the overview portion. — James 2021/06/16 15:51

James, there's another Simic piece that a classmate discussed. There's information there on the translator (a now famous, Pulitzer prize winner in the US who was born in sErbia and interested in taking Serbian culture into the US). I think the overview can be simple, describe them as ten short, paradoxical poems on natural or rural scenes and objects. The titles do play a role.

I find the sources you link to helpful (but I'd name or at least mention something about them rather than just giving the link0. DONE
